Tooth #2!!

Should have known why she was so flippin mean today! Her 2nd tooth finally broke through. Both are on the bottom in the middle. Thank heaven for baby motrin! Still haven't been able to get a picture.... she fights me and smacks my hands away. Oh well, I'll just keep trying.

6 Months Old!!

So Ava is 6 months old already!! Ok, so she's actually a little over 6 months but who's counting? She has been such a joy to our lives! I couldn't possibly imagine life without her. She is definately a mama's girl. Although, she loves her daddy too. She had her 6 month check up today. She had to get 4 shots and 1 vaccine by mouth. She didn't like it at all. Here's some little facts about her.

height: 25inches (25%)

weight: 15lbs 3oz (40%)

head cir: 41cm (25%)

(basically she's short and chunky with a porportionate head ;)

She sits up all by herself and has since she was about 4 months old.

She JUST started rolling over like a week ago.

She loves to talk (hardly ever stops making some kind of noise).

Just got her first tooth and is cutting her 2nd. Both on bottom.

She LOVES to be outside and doesn't mind sitting in the grass.

She loves Mazie (our bassette hound)

She has horrible reflux, which isn't getting much better. She's on 2 different medications for it.

She gets to start eating solid foods now. We'll start with sweet potatoes (wish me luck!) I'm not really looking forward to orange spit up. :)

Dress Up Time

So yesterday Ava got to go spend some time at aunt Corinnie's house. Evidently Shaelynn and Rylee decided Ava needed to play dress up with their old kitty costume.

First Tooth!

So I had to take Ava to the doctor today for an ear infection. While he was looking at her throat he was having me hold her arms so she couldn't smack his hands away (like she usually does) and I saw a little white thing...... So when I got home tonight I felt in there and sure enough her 1st tooth has broken through on the bottom on the left side!!! So fun! I tried to get a picture of it to show you all, but she was freaking out every time I tried. I'll keep trying though. :)

Attack of the killer ball!!!

So Ava is finally rolling over!! About time! When we used lay her down she would just lay there and pretty much not even move. If she wanted to move she would just cry and cry until someone came to her rescue. One time I even laid her on her tummy and let her cry for quite a while. She finally just laid her head down and went to sleep rather than attempting to roll over. Keep in mind this was only like a week ago. Can we say LAZY?! She is almost 6 months old for crying out loud! She has been sitting up since she was like 4 months old. I haven't gotten the rolling over on video yet, but when I do it will for sure be posted. Here's a fun video of her playing with her favorite toy. Gotta love Spongebob!

Last night was eventful! Ava got to go spend the evening with Turner while mom went to work, and boy were there some good times had by all! The following three pictures display a scenario that I found to be absolutely hilarious.
